Meet the Team

  • Peter Bennett

    CHIEF MARKETING OFFICER

Hi there! I'm Peter and I'm a sophomore at Stanford studying physics and public policy. Besides being SIAS's Head of Marketing, I'm part of our Model UN team and I'll be chairing a conference at SMUNC 2025. In my free time, I discover new physics with the Gratta Lab and lead writing for the US Earth Science Olympiad; in my real free time, I enjoy biking, drinking Vietnamese coffee, and making spreadsheets. I'm hoping to have some fun with SIAS this year and learn a thing or two along the way :)

  • Kendall Gee

    MARKETING LIASON TO PROGRAMMING

Kendall is a sophomore from Dallas, TX studying Computer Science and International Relations. She has previously served as an Editorial Fellow for SJIA and will be working on the Marketing team this year. In her free time, she enjoys cooking, solving escape rooms, and traveling. She is excited to make SIAS even bigger and better in the upcoming year!

  • Alejandra Rincón

    MARKETING LIASON TO MUN

Hi! I’m Alejandra Rincón, and I’m a sophomore studying International Relations and minoring German. Last year, I was a Specialized Committee Chair for SMUNC, and this year I’m excited to serve as SMUNC’s Undersecretary General of Crisis Committees and as a Marketing Liaison! This year, I’m looking forward to connecting with students to make international affairs more accessible to the community. In my down time, I love to make art and read.

  • Margarita Simonyan

    MARKETING LIASON TO SJIA

Hi! My name is Margarita Simonyan, and I’m a second-year double major in International Relations and Russian Language. This is my second year in SIAS—last year I served as an editor for the journal and loved being part of exec board meetings and bonding with everyone. This year, I’m excited to keep growing within the community and contribute to SIAS through the marketing sector, while continuing to stay connected to SJIA. In my free time, I enjoy reading, running, journaling, and listening to music.
