  • Britney Bennett

    PRESIDENT

    Britney Bennett is a senior majoring in Biomedical Computation (Simulation) with a minor in Human Biology (Environment and Environmental Justice). As president, Britney aims to amplify SIAS’ presence at Stanford, while cultivating a vibrant internationally engaged community on campus, and broaden students’ access to global learning networks.
    On campus, Britney has worked primarily in research, including as a King Center Fellow for the Benjamin-Chung Lab, and as a research assistant at the Hoover Institution through the Biostrategies Leadership Program.

  • Elkin Mantilla

    VICE PRESIDENT

    Elkin Mantilla is a senior at Stanford University studying International Relations and Portuguese. Born in Colombia and raised in New York City, he focuses on international security with a regional emphasis on Latin America. Elkin joined SIAS as a finance fellow in his freshman year, later becoming Model UN Vice-Captain and then Co-Captain, leading the team to one of its most successful years. Now serving as SIAS Vice President, he is excited to continue fostering a close-knit community and expanding the organization’s impact within and beyond the IR community at Stanford. He recently returned from Curitiba, Brazil, where he worked at the Sivis Institute promoting free speech and education, and has previously worked with the US Commercial Service in Mexico City to strengthen US–Mexico business ties.   • Nathaniel Fagelson

    FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Nathaniel is excited to be serving at SIAS' Financial Officer this year! In previous years, he served as a member of the Programming Team and an Undersecretary General of SMUNC. A junior studying Economics, Nathaniel hails from Austin, Texas. He does research for H.R. McMaster's team at the Hoover Institution and spent the past summer working at a think tank in Riga, Latvia. In his free time, Nathaniel enjoys watching baseball, trying new restaurants, and playing mahjong.

  • Aliana Arzola

    DEPUTY FINANCIAL OFFICER

    Aliana is a senior at Stanford studying International Relations, with minors in Economics and German Studies. She primarily focuses on social and economic development issues, as well as European affairs. She studied at Stanford in Berlin in Spring 2024. Coming from Puerto Rico, Aliana works as Deputy Financial Officer for SIAS, having also staffed and crisis-directed for SMUNC. In her free time, Ali loves learning new languages (French and German), working as co-Lead Ambassador for the Bing Overseas Studies Program, and making coffee.

  • Colin McKhann

    CHIEF OF STAFF

    Colin is a senior studying Data Science in coterming in Statistics. He is excited to serve as SIAS’ chief of staff this year, as well as chairing SMUNC and competing on the MUN team! Outside of SIAS, Colin also is a course assistant for DATASCI 112, Stanford’s introduction data science course. He also likes reading, playing video games, walking around campus, finding new food spots in the Bay Area, and occasionally amateur bartending

  • Lindsey McKhann

    SENIOR ADVISOR

    Lindsey is currently in her fifth year at Stanford and pursuing a coterminal M.A. in Public Policy. She studied International Relations and Human Rights in undergrad and has previously served as President, Chief of Staff, and Chief Programming Officer of SIAS. She is thrilled to serve as a Senior Advisor and SMUNC Chair this year and looks forward to growing the SIAS community, competing in SIAS Trivia and SIAS Geoguessr Night, and offering her senior advice.

  • Dylan Vergara

    SENIOR ADVISOR

    My name is Dylan Vergara, and I am a Senior and Coterm studying Political Science and Sociology. I have competed previously on the MUN team, and I will now be a Senior Advisor for the organization! I am super excited to assist the organization in fostering connections and partnerships with other organizations and to help various branches throughout the school year. In my free time, I like to do Dragonboat and volleyball!
